God says I will never leave and forsake you in Hebrews. I do believe that to be my truth.

I will retire at 55 and this is how I will do it. I will write, write, write and reveal to myself that In All Things God Is My Provider and My Guide.

All last week my micro-manager was micro-managing me to the point where I felt pretty doggone bad. On Monday he continued. On Tuesday he didn’t come to work because he was sick. On Wednesday he came in for a few hours and left because he still didn’t feel good. He was talking to me. My guard was up.  Today he was being polite, talking and laughing. My guard is still up.  I think I finally have learned that he is not really capable of being a friend and a boss. It must be one or the other. It must be boss exclusively because I get it twisted.  My feelings get in the way and I think that him talking to me about his personal life and the details of the job is a friend thing.  Well what it actually is is his just giving me information. I have to know that if he gets upset with other co-workers and lashes out at them that I am no different.

This morning I woke up with all of these fabulous preachers in my ear and in my spirit all day. What was revealed was the simple truth that God is my everything.  When I am upset I speak to HIm, when I am happy I speak to Him and when I am tired I speak to Him – in all things I speak to Him. Now I am able to recognize the difference between a thought – a feeling from HIM and one from me or someone else.  He remains in the storm, during the storm and after the storm. People are in my life to make sure that I know that I know that God is in control.
